Debby, Cremation & Ping the Duck

Debby, Cremation & Ping the Duck

Send us a text

Hosting a kids birthday? We’ve got some tips - adult beverages and don’t be stingy on the slices. We said it. We love celebrating your kiddos but we don’t need to be starved and parched - these parties cost us all a few brain cells - help a girl out.

Septic does Debby, or is it the other way around? If it wasn’t one thing, it’s another. Water is everywhere - from Jenny’s yard to Raebecca’s ceiling, we are drowning in Mount Pleasant. But when does hair washing trump everything else? At what point are you willing to get in your swimsuit and head out into the rain for a hair wash.

We get a little deep into a few personality epiphanies about how people view us. As a retired/ semi retired people pleasers - we dissect the idea that there are people who will think you are the nicest person ever, and in the same breath someone else can view you as the nastiest person ever. And both can be right. The ability to match energy is quickly becoming one of our shared strengths. Even better? When someone thinks that you can think their thoughts.

Somewhere between planning your own funeral and the cremation debate - we navigate the fact that one of us - often starts their convo 30% into their thoughts - leaving the other fairly bewildered at times.  And the other is entirely too literal. Which - has its own unique complexities.

This weeks episode lands somewhere between family plots, the lawn mower (yes, our IT guy wants to be left on the front lawn), our favorite Olympic stories - and the incredible impact the women had on this year’s Summer games. This one will leave you in tears - and you better shed them now because Jenny’s not letting it happen at her service.

WEBVTT

00:00:10.830 --> 00:00:15.573
cheers, cheers cheers, cheers.

00:00:15.733 --> 00:00:20.504
I love when we do them on the weekends, because it's we can have happy hour no, I know I was.

00:00:20.623 --> 00:00:28.469
I went through the drive-thru and I got a diet coke because I knew I was like coming to do this, and then when I saw that you brought a beverage, I was like I need to regroup.

00:00:28.469 --> 00:00:31.068
Actually, that sounds so much better, doesn't?

00:00:31.147 --> 00:00:31.208
it.

00:00:31.208 --> 00:00:33.709
I mean because it's like 4.15.

00:00:33.709 --> 00:00:35.363
It's definitely early enough.

00:00:35.363 --> 00:00:38.311
You are correct, late enough, late enough.

00:00:38.560 --> 00:00:39.886
I did have a mimosa earlier.

00:00:39.886 --> 00:00:49.606
I had a beer at a kid's birthday party at lunch today I actually really appreciate when parents do that.

00:00:49.627 --> 00:00:49.847
We are not.

00:00:49.847 --> 00:00:57.670
But like I told her, the same, I really I have a deep appreciation for the parents who order enough pizza so that the adults can have even one slice.

00:00:57.670 --> 00:00:59.762
I just think that is very symbolic.

00:00:59.762 --> 00:01:02.445
I hate when people get about pizza listen, listen.

00:01:02.445 --> 00:01:07.012
Here you can shove it in your freezer but, like sometimes, my kids will go slice for slice.

00:01:07.012 --> 00:01:09.093
And I've bought you a nice gift.

00:01:09.093 --> 00:01:12.909
I'm sweating, I'm helping you corral and set out cupcakes.

00:01:12.909 --> 00:01:15.686
Please make sure there's a beverage and a slice for me.

00:01:16.489 --> 00:01:17.111
That's all I want.

00:01:17.111 --> 00:01:18.984
Give me a piece of pizza and a beer.

00:01:18.984 --> 00:01:19.626
I'm good.

00:01:19.706 --> 00:01:21.051
I'm good, I'm a simple girl.

00:01:26.100 --> 00:01:26.504
We're simple girls.

00:01:26.504 --> 00:01:31.908
Yeah, we are so, yeah, so we are back after a week of Good Lord, hurricane Debbie here in Charleston.

00:01:32.441 --> 00:01:34.647
Yeah, debbie, does Charleston Bitch be cray?

00:01:35.536 --> 00:01:35.939
That was awful.

00:01:35.939 --> 00:01:37.185
Debbie did do Charleston.

00:01:37.185 --> 00:01:46.486
It was just freaking weird because it was so slow, there was so much hype about it, and then it was just boo-koos of rain.

00:01:46.486 --> 00:01:49.239
It was so slow, there was so much hype about it, and then it was just boo-coos of rain, it was so much rain.

00:01:49.760 --> 00:01:58.159
I think you might have been more hype than I did, because I have somebody who gets anxious about weather, so I did not watch any of the hype.

00:01:58.320 --> 00:01:59.867
Oh my gosh, becca.

00:01:59.867 --> 00:02:03.909
So you know, we're on set here at the house, oh, shoot.

00:02:03.909 --> 00:02:08.859
And when it rains, the shit hits the fan.

00:02:08.859 --> 00:02:12.387
And when I say that I don't mean that I mean, I mean it literally.

00:02:13.248 --> 00:02:15.760
So we have been unable to grow up on septic.

00:02:15.760 --> 00:02:17.104
I did grow up on septic.

00:02:17.104 --> 00:02:18.647
Yeah, I grew up on septic.

00:02:18.647 --> 00:02:19.490
My parents are still.

00:02:19.531 --> 00:02:21.923
We've had like 14 inches of rain.

00:02:21.923 --> 00:02:32.346
My yard is like a pool, so we have been unable to shower, wash dishes, do laundry or go poop in my house since Monday.

00:02:32.346 --> 00:02:35.131
Oh, today is Saturday.

00:02:35.131 --> 00:02:36.954
What do you mean?

00:02:36.954 --> 00:02:37.781
You can't go poop?

00:02:37.781 --> 00:02:40.246
I have to go to my dad's to poop.

00:02:40.246 --> 00:02:42.711
So we live next door to my dad.

00:02:42.771 --> 00:02:47.514
Thank God, thank God, we do, I know, I know, but like I love that.

00:02:47.514 --> 00:02:50.532
We talked about farting last week and now we're just starting off with shit.

00:02:50.693 --> 00:02:53.985
But like I I have to poop eight seconds.

00:02:53.985 --> 00:02:55.872
You bitches on city water.

00:02:55.872 --> 00:03:00.183
You're like lifestyles of the rich and famous compared to me right now we're.

00:03:00.223 --> 00:03:08.325
so what I've learned is that this apartment is actually on the same electrical grid as Roper Hospital also, so I think that's barely yeah.

00:03:08.759 --> 00:03:16.174
If you ever need electricity or to take a shit, you can always come here, yay, well, trust me, I thought about it so funny.

00:03:16.174 --> 00:03:17.483
Do you ever?

00:03:17.483 --> 00:03:19.128
And this is I have to ask you this.

00:03:19.128 --> 00:03:20.963
So do you wash your hair?

00:03:21.003 --> 00:03:21.365
every day.

00:03:21.365 --> 00:03:22.247
Have we talked about this?

00:03:22.247 --> 00:03:23.191
I'm a big hair washer.

00:03:23.191 --> 00:03:27.082
Yes, I am the opposite of everybody else I'm a big hair washer.

00:03:28.127 --> 00:03:29.189
Okay, so I am not.

00:03:29.189 --> 00:03:41.233
I am a girl who goes about every four days to wash my hair, and so I did not think very far ahead to wash my hair before the storm rolled through.

00:03:41.500 --> 00:03:44.223
Oh, that's like a big rule for me, even as a daily hair washer.

00:03:44.223 --> 00:03:49.469
I'm like what happens If Hugo comes through and I have to go this many days without a wash?

00:03:50.570 --> 00:03:50.891
Oh yeah.

00:03:50.891 --> 00:03:58.079
So I washed my hair the Thursday before the storm, and the storm rolled in on Monday.

00:03:58.079 --> 00:04:11.943
I'm washed, and so I was like, well, I'm good, like it's fine, like I'm not going anywhere, you know, whatever.

00:04:11.943 --> 00:04:20.990
Well, all of a sudden and I don't know if the non hair washers are like this, but it's like I'm sitting there and I don't care what time of day it is or what I'm doing, I have to get up and go wash my hair immediately, like it's like the grease.

00:04:25.899 --> 00:04:27.807
No, I'm the same way, even about the daily or buy it like every other daily wash.

00:04:27.807 --> 00:04:29.312
There will be a moment where I'm like I am disgusting.

00:04:29.312 --> 00:04:30.940
I'm disgusting, yes, I can't do this anymore.

00:04:30.940 --> 00:04:33.747
Actually, I have to stop right now and I have to get up.

00:04:33.747 --> 00:04:35.512
It could be mascara and hair wash.

00:04:35.512 --> 00:04:44.370
There's a moment where I'm like I am going to flip myself out if I don't get in the shower right now it's like I am.

00:04:44.370 --> 00:04:45.351
What is universal?

00:04:46.279 --> 00:04:47.185
Well, that's what I want to know.

00:04:47.185 --> 00:04:54.048
Like I feel like I'm like a crackhead, like I feel like I start like kind of itching in my head and I'm like, oh my God, that's it.

00:04:54.201 --> 00:04:55.646
I have got to wash my hair immediately.

00:04:55.646 --> 00:04:59.725
So that happened on Tuesday when I was sitting there working Can you shower at your dad's?

00:04:59.725 --> 00:05:01.901
I could have.

00:05:01.901 --> 00:05:12.786
I could have, but I was really in the middle of doing something important for work and I was like I don't want to take the time to pack up my little shower caddy, like I'm in college, go down to my dad's.

00:05:12.786 --> 00:05:13.829
It's monsooning.

00:05:13.829 --> 00:05:15.887
So let me tell you what my ghetto.

00:05:15.887 --> 00:05:23.939
I went outside and there's this thing on my pool cover that like squirts the rainwater.

00:05:23.939 --> 00:05:25.521
It's like a pump that squirts the rainwater off the top of my pool cover.

00:05:25.521 --> 00:05:25.934
That like squirts the rainwater.

00:05:25.934 --> 00:05:34.927
It's like a pump that squirts the rainwater off the top of the pool cover like there's a video of this nate did try to pull it off the ring camera because he's, like you look like a fool out there.

00:05:35.810 --> 00:05:47.903
So I took my conditioner and I put a bikini on and I go out there and I'm in the rain, bathing in the water that squirts off of the top of my pool cover and it only water totally.

00:05:48.184 --> 00:05:50.567
But it only squirts off like every couple of minutes.

00:05:50.567 --> 00:06:03.365
So I'd like lather up and then, and then I would just like stand there and wait for it, so like I'm just standing there in the rain freezing to death, and I'm just like, and then it started squirting.

00:06:03.365 --> 00:06:06.833
I'm like, oh, let's do a rinse, let's do a rinse, and then I'd wait again.

00:06:06.833 --> 00:06:10.399
But I better feel good yeah, yeah, so that was my.

00:06:10.540 --> 00:06:18.985
That was my hair wash on on tuesday I will get creative about water usage for sure, like I'm one of those people I just can't you should because you don't pay your bill.

00:06:18.985 --> 00:06:22.952
I did, I paid all of it.

00:06:22.952 --> 00:06:31.093
I keep thinking about that, like how every email just came and it was like yes, and I was like ew, no, like my Wednesday Addams.

00:06:31.093 --> 00:06:34.783
Well, you know what actually is really weird for me?

00:06:34.783 --> 00:06:36.668
I was saying this to somebody the other day.

00:06:36.668 --> 00:06:51.300
This is a random thought, but they were like you are so nice, like you're one of the nicest people I know, and I was like that is such an interesting thought because I know that there are people who think I am the nastiest bitch that they've ever come across.

00:06:51.300 --> 00:06:58.252
And you guys are both right, I will meet your energy, I will.

00:06:58.994 --> 00:07:02.543
I will match you, and so I was like that's a compliment to you.

00:07:02.543 --> 00:07:06.607
Like cause, I like being in your presence, and so I was like that's a compliment to you.

00:07:06.607 --> 00:07:07.648
Like, cause, I like being in your presence.

00:07:07.648 --> 00:07:11.952
I don't feel the need to like, and I'm not one of those people who, like acts fake, what I will do is put up walls.

00:07:11.952 --> 00:07:15.615
We've been in conversations where I just like almost I'll walk away.

00:07:15.615 --> 00:07:17.641
I won't even like I have.

00:07:17.641 --> 00:07:23.564
There've been moments where you and I are doing something and I've like wandered off and been like, yeah, you're a wanderer.

00:07:23.564 --> 00:07:27.144
Yeah, I've like wandered off and been like, yeah, you're a wanderer.

00:07:27.144 --> 00:07:31.358
Yeah, especially if like and it's not about cannot capturing my attention if you have something that feels not good to me, I won't.

00:07:31.358 --> 00:07:32.661
I just can't give you space.

00:07:32.661 --> 00:07:33.966
I don't know what my problem is.

00:07:33.966 --> 00:07:39.504
So I will like peace out on accident, and then you'll come over and I'll be like you were doing great work.

00:07:39.685 --> 00:07:45.055
You're like we gotta talk about my favorite text that you sent me.

00:07:45.055 --> 00:07:49.500
One of the my favorite that you sent was yesterday.

00:07:49.500 --> 00:08:03.367
Oh my god, I know what you're gonna tango it about one subject and then you're going out of town, and so I replied back when are you leaving?

00:08:03.367 --> 00:08:06.293
It was, and wait a minute.

00:08:06.333 --> 00:08:07.514
Can I give you my side?

00:08:07.514 --> 00:08:08.601
Let's go play by play.

00:08:08.601 --> 00:08:10.225
You said it.

00:08:10.225 --> 00:08:14.374
I was in a restaurant and I was actually getting up.

00:08:14.374 --> 00:08:22.410
So there was like a moment where I was like like Jenny, like are you here with me?

00:08:22.410 --> 00:08:23.851
It was like the weirdest.

00:08:23.851 --> 00:08:28.762
I was like I'm leaving right now, I can be home in five.

00:08:29.084 --> 00:08:35.913
Like I was so confused because you do this thing to me a lot.

00:08:35.913 --> 00:08:47.173
It is borderline wild sometimes because I am the most literal person and it is on purpose.

00:08:47.173 --> 00:08:56.845
But like you can't tell me to do something If you're like being funny, like unless I'm with you and I understand your energy, which especially doesn't portray over text properly.

00:08:56.845 --> 00:09:05.085
Weird, like to a fault, weirdly you are, you really are.

00:09:05.085 --> 00:09:21.629
I don't know why I don't do you know that I also didn't understand this until in the last four years, but here's why I know this my niece, rowan, is actually more literal than me, so when we are together I watch her.

00:09:21.629 --> 00:09:22.793
I'm like what the fuck?

00:09:22.793 --> 00:09:26.825
And then, but my sister-in-law, christina's like that, you're what?

00:09:26.825 --> 00:09:29.147
And I'm like that seems extreme.

00:09:29.147 --> 00:09:31.245
That's just you.

00:09:31.245 --> 00:09:35.892
Like you're just at year 41 of the exact same thing.

00:09:37.020 --> 00:09:45.525
So Becca responds to me and she was like sometimes you start conversations Like I'm there talking with you, Like I know where your head is.

00:09:45.525 --> 00:09:46.683
I'm like do you not?

00:09:46.683 --> 00:09:47.385
Like what is it?

00:09:47.427 --> 00:10:05.620
I don't understand you, literally invite me into a conversation and you've already had 33% of it and I'm like there are times where I'm like I'm going to have to ask her what she's talking about and you do switch gears, so like you'll be in a conversation about one thing really quickly.

00:10:05.620 --> 00:10:07.966
Yeah, yeah, like I can switch gears fast.

00:10:07.966 --> 00:10:19.982
I just need to know that you did that because you will be in a different context, and then you'll say like something completely random, like I and you know I have to work to follow anyways.

00:10:19.982 --> 00:10:24.410
So I'm like you, you do push me back into my like ADHD.

00:10:24.410 --> 00:10:28.345
I'm like wait what I'm leaving right now and you're like no, for the funeral.

00:10:28.424 --> 00:10:32.014
I'm like, oh damn, I don't know, I do it with Nate too.

00:10:32.014 --> 00:10:34.865
I'm like what did you not hear the first half of the conversation?

00:10:34.865 --> 00:10:36.349
In my head, in your head?

00:10:37.130 --> 00:10:37.731
in your head.

00:10:37.731 --> 00:10:42.261
And then there was a part where I was like, waiting for you to be, like, do you need me to book your plane tickets?

00:10:42.261 --> 00:10:43.686
I was.

00:10:43.686 --> 00:10:46.712
I was half amazed that Whitney didn't do it for me last night either.

00:10:46.712 --> 00:10:51.745
I'm like is no one going to ask me to book my plane tickets for me, which you know I wouldn't be able to handle?

00:10:52.701 --> 00:10:54.388
Oh, my God, every day of my life.

00:10:54.759 --> 00:10:56.225
That got me tickled yesterday.

00:10:56.225 --> 00:10:57.330
It was hysterical.

00:10:57.330 --> 00:10:58.966
I was like I'm leaving right now.

00:10:58.966 --> 00:11:07.274
You're like we're in New York, we have a dinner plan, we have a meeting on Wednesday.

00:11:07.274 --> 00:11:15.424
I'm like I can leave in five, like I don't know my.

00:11:15.424 --> 00:11:18.317
But I'm also a very responsive person for people I love, so when you're like are you leaving?

00:11:18.356 --> 00:11:18.879
I'm like, do you need me?

00:11:18.879 --> 00:11:20.965
I was like no, I'm just like when are you going out of town?

00:11:21.206 --> 00:11:22.710
You're like was like.

00:11:22.710 --> 00:11:23.653
I actually have no idea.

00:11:25.116 --> 00:11:27.923
It's this week coming up I got real tickled about that.

00:11:28.063 --> 00:11:37.091
I got real, real tickled I am like so stressed about going out of town and then part of me like half of me is so excited and I'm so conflicted about this trip.

00:11:37.251 --> 00:11:41.467
But it's gonna be fun.

00:11:41.648 --> 00:11:47.004
It's gonna be fun it's just like we have the apartment stuff going on and, like I, the girls are at matt's, so that's great, but it's like I have fun, it's going to be fun.

00:11:47.004 --> 00:11:48.804
It's just like we have the apartment stuff going on and, like I, the girls are at Matt's, so that's great, but it's like I have a dog sitter.

00:11:48.804 --> 00:11:57.865
Then I have this apartment drama and it's a funeral for my uncle, which sucks, and but I like seeing my that side of my family.

00:11:57.865 --> 00:12:02.273
I feel like I only see them for funerals lately, but I don't know, that's depressing.

00:12:02.273 --> 00:12:05.158
Well, my, yeah, it's one of those things.

00:12:05.158 --> 00:12:14.107
My grandmother passed away not that long ago, so I feel like I just I guess it was like a year, maybe two years, I guess I don't know but okay, have you thought about your funeral.

00:12:14.328 --> 00:12:16.761
Is this weird to ask, as you were talking about funerals?

00:12:17.802 --> 00:12:18.484
Maybe not.

00:12:18.484 --> 00:12:19.706
Do you think about your funeral?

00:12:20.307 --> 00:12:22.429
Yes, a hundred percent, like I have mine, like planned.

00:12:23.250 --> 00:12:23.991
Do you have it with your?

00:12:23.991 --> 00:12:25.494
Do you actually have it planned?

00:12:25.494 --> 00:12:29.681
Yeah, because my attorney told me to.

00:12:29.681 --> 00:12:30.961
That seems like a really big commitment.

00:12:31.782 --> 00:12:44.128
Yeah, I know, because I feel like the things, because it's like you know, do you want readings and like songs, and I'm like you know that answer may vary now, really Okay, I have a question for you, because you are such a control freak.

00:12:44.128 --> 00:12:45.509
No, not at all.

00:12:45.509 --> 00:12:46.350
What are you talking about?

00:12:46.950 --> 00:12:56.735
I mean, isn't there a part where people have to express themselves appropriately, to work through their grief about how much they loved you and losing you?

00:12:56.735 --> 00:12:58.355
Do you really need to control that?

00:12:59.297 --> 00:13:01.618
No, because I don't want it to be some sad affair.

00:13:01.618 --> 00:13:02.717
I had a great little life.

00:13:02.717 --> 00:13:11.544
I don't want people sitting around listening to sad music.

00:13:11.565 --> 00:13:13.553
They're allowed to cry do you want me to sing what you think I'm dying before you because I'm older?

00:13:13.553 --> 00:13:15.480
What the hell, if I get a chance to sing, do you want me to karaoke in my like?

00:13:15.500 --> 00:13:16.663
90s.

00:13:16.663 --> 00:13:18.066
Would you do time of my life?

00:13:18.967 --> 00:13:19.269
can I?

00:13:19.269 --> 00:13:21.732
Okay, sure, should I put that in my notes.

00:13:21.732 --> 00:13:22.980
Can I lift your earn up?

00:13:22.980 --> 00:13:28.629
Are you getting cremated or it's probably really fucked up?

00:13:28.629 --> 00:13:31.634
I'm sorry if that was no, I am getting cremated.

00:13:31.715 --> 00:13:32.721
I don't want to be in a box.

00:13:32.721 --> 00:13:36.070
I mean I'll be dead and all, but I don't want to be in a box yeah, I'm a big cremator.

00:13:36.230 --> 00:13:37.683
We, um, do you wait a minute?

00:13:37.683 --> 00:13:38.969
Can we take another side?

00:13:40.013 --> 00:13:41.538
this is a really weird conversation.

00:13:41.639 --> 00:13:43.323
Did you see my stories yesterday?

00:13:44.648 --> 00:13:45.510
I will be honest with you.

00:13:45.510 --> 00:13:47.908
I have not been on social much Viewing.

00:13:48.240 --> 00:13:50.326
I've been posting but not viewing Same.

00:13:50.326 --> 00:13:54.807
I do this a lot, so yesterday I promised Summit that we would go and pick up our cat.

00:13:54.807 --> 00:13:55.990
Our cat is deceased.

00:13:55.990 --> 00:14:00.749
He was committed, so I've been saying we would go together.

00:14:00.749 --> 00:14:03.408
First of all, I love my mom.

00:14:06.539 --> 00:14:07.442
My mom is so dark about some of this stuff.

00:14:07.442 --> 00:14:09.687
So she's like oh my, it took so long for them to get her processed.

00:14:09.687 --> 00:14:11.721
I'm like mom, no, it's been since march.

00:14:11.721 --> 00:14:17.105
I just have been avoiding doing this because I don't really want to go and pick up the cat, right, my daughter loves the cat.

00:14:17.105 --> 00:14:18.789
She's been very sad about the cat.

00:14:18.850 --> 00:14:25.296
I said we would go together, we go together, we have to do shopping after we have like some errands.

00:14:25.296 --> 00:14:27.443
And she's like well, we can't leave her in the car.

00:14:27.443 --> 00:14:30.192
And I'm like, to be honest, that seems really fair.

00:14:30.192 --> 00:14:39.618
She is in a gift bag inside of a little urn, so going around Hobby Lobby, yeah.

00:14:39.618 --> 00:14:46.413
And so then I sent the picture to my sister-in-law, first Christina, because you know I'm like am I going to pay for this later in therapy, like is she going to be all right?

00:14:46.413 --> 00:14:50.429
And she's like I mean, is there any particular reason that the cat's in a gift bag?

00:14:50.559 --> 00:14:56.052
And I was like, which I hadn't really considered much, because it just seemed appropriate.

00:14:56.052 --> 00:14:58.245
I was like that's how they gave her to us.

00:14:58.245 --> 00:15:09.022
Okay, all right, fair enough, and then gonna go all right.

00:15:09.022 --> 00:15:10.347
And then the whole time she's talking about it.

00:15:10.347 --> 00:15:11.312
So it's clear that we have our dead cat with us.

00:15:11.312 --> 00:15:12.375
I mean, she's like don't you just feel sad, don't you?

00:15:12.375 --> 00:15:12.878
So she was furry.

00:15:12.878 --> 00:15:14.202
Can you open that jar back up?

00:15:14.202 --> 00:15:24.552
Can I look at her again and it's like creamy oh, they said don't do you know, my god, when we got the dog's inside their teeth might be in there.

00:15:25.033 --> 00:15:26.524
Oh no, we already opened it up.

00:15:26.524 --> 00:15:27.729
There might be teeth.

00:15:27.729 --> 00:15:29.159
There's some pretty sketchy stuff in there.

00:15:29.159 --> 00:15:32.866
We did not look real close, but there's definitely like bone fragment.

00:15:32.866 --> 00:15:33.710
It was loose.

00:15:34.322 --> 00:15:36.106
If you had to dump your ashes?

00:15:36.106 --> 00:15:37.772
Are you a cremator or a barrier?

00:15:40.279 --> 00:15:45.587
Personally, or like on different sides of my family, I don't think we're going to be able to dump boots.

00:15:45.587 --> 00:15:47.263
She wants to keep boots.

00:15:48.306 --> 00:15:49.369
Yeah, well, what are you?

00:15:49.369 --> 00:15:51.706
What do you say, like, are you going to be cremated or buried?

00:15:52.327 --> 00:15:54.006
Um, I will probably be cremated.

00:15:54.006 --> 00:15:57.508
I'll probably like let myself get like a little divvied up for science or something.

00:15:58.471 --> 00:15:59.273
Well, totally yeah.

00:16:09.159 --> 00:16:10.682
Like take my parts, but like where would you want to be spread somewhere?

00:16:10.682 --> 00:16:11.303
Um, this is god.

00:16:11.303 --> 00:16:13.168
I was like in a sexual way, sure, but in a non-sexual way, no, I don't think so.

00:16:13.168 --> 00:16:16.522
Actually, I, we have like a family, um thing.

00:16:16.522 --> 00:16:19.207
Oh, a mausoleum, you know what?

00:16:19.207 --> 00:16:24.307
They're called it's not quite like that, but there it is like a wall with like plaques and all the things.

00:16:24.408 --> 00:16:31.513
Yes, we have like a very fancy I don't think it's that fancy, but we definitely have like a place where the family goes.

00:16:31.513 --> 00:16:34.208
Okay, family, it's very new york.

00:16:34.208 --> 00:16:35.432
It is in new york actually.

00:16:35.432 --> 00:16:39.846
It's in bestsell, it's in binghamton okay nate says that he wants to be.

00:16:40.889 --> 00:16:45.240
he wants to be like spread, like in the ocean, or like on the lawnmower, like he wants me to like drive around the the ocean or like on the lawnmower.

00:16:45.240 --> 00:16:50.633
Like he wants me to like drive around the lawn and like sprinkle his ashes, cause you know, he loves gun grass.

00:16:54.360 --> 00:16:58.549
When you said the lawnmower, for a second I was like, um, have we thought this through?

00:16:58.549 --> 00:16:59.633
Like what?

00:16:59.633 --> 00:17:08.810
I saw this thing a commercial for one of those shows where people eat weird things and the wife was like licking her finger and dipping it in her husband's ashes three times a day.

00:17:12.320 --> 00:17:13.345
Stop it right now.

00:17:15.441 --> 00:17:17.347
Oh my God, I swear to God, that's disgusting.

00:17:17.539 --> 00:17:18.645
I don't think that's healthy.

00:17:20.339 --> 00:17:20.820
No, it was.

00:17:20.820 --> 00:17:21.201
She was.

00:17:21.201 --> 00:17:25.933
It was like a grief issue, but she was like I, you know.

00:17:25.933 --> 00:17:31.563
It was like I eat, you know weird things, I eat, or whatever, and she was like I'm eating my husband's ashes and immediately my first.

00:17:31.563 --> 00:17:34.330
I was like what happens when they run out?

00:17:37.921 --> 00:17:41.371
Oh, I'm really concerned about that.

00:17:41.371 --> 00:17:43.904
Nate says he thinks I want to be.

00:17:43.904 --> 00:17:45.871
He just was going to sprinkle me around Target.

00:17:49.786 --> 00:17:57.670
Oh my God, Remember the other day when I was like I couldn't remember something that I had said to you at Target, but we were together.

00:17:57.670 --> 00:17:59.125
It hit me what it was later.

00:17:59.125 --> 00:18:03.609
It was the fact that I hadn't been to Target in like five months.

00:18:04.861 --> 00:18:09.243
Oh, that's what it was it was how many times y'all go to target.

00:18:09.243 --> 00:18:15.723
I go to target at least two to three times a week, so I'm gonna need it.

00:18:16.325 --> 00:18:19.352
Yeah, I love target I love target when I go.

00:18:19.352 --> 00:18:19.913
I just don't.

00:18:19.913 --> 00:18:25.811
Really I'm a big amazon girl, but like I don't know, I don't know why I don't go more.

00:18:25.811 --> 00:18:28.125
I guess it's like therapeutic.

00:18:29.661 --> 00:18:30.726
It's something about the life.

00:18:33.240 --> 00:18:46.281
I just I walk around and I mean inevitably I buy something because you know it's Target, but yeah, so, yeah, nate thinks I want to be sprinkled around Target.

00:18:46.281 --> 00:18:47.386
Yeah.

00:18:47.386 --> 00:18:48.971
So back to Debbie.

00:18:48.971 --> 00:18:50.281
I wanted to talk about one thing.

00:18:50.281 --> 00:18:56.080
So we were I mean, we did not have some John for like five days.

00:18:56.080 --> 00:18:58.708
It was gloomy and rainy and icky here.

00:18:58.708 --> 00:19:02.705
It felt awful, yeah, it felt awful.

00:19:02.705 --> 00:19:09.766
So now Nate's like like sick and so I told him.

00:19:09.766 --> 00:19:12.665
I said it's because you have not gotten any vitamin D this week.

00:19:14.329 --> 00:19:20.844
And he's like he's like yeah, he's upstairs Like he's been sleeping like all day.

00:19:20.844 --> 00:19:23.391
Yeah, that sucks.

00:19:23.391 --> 00:19:27.608
So I think it's the vitamin D, is the lack of vitamin D.

00:19:27.608 --> 00:19:30.071
So, like we no, I'm here, okay, we need the sunshine of vitamin D.

00:19:30.071 --> 00:19:32.967
So, like no, I'm here, okay, we need the sunshine.

00:19:34.020 --> 00:19:35.066
No, we absolutely do.

00:19:35.066 --> 00:19:38.146
We absolutely need the sunshine.

00:19:38.146 --> 00:19:39.325
I'm not okay without it.

00:19:39.325 --> 00:19:44.355
First of all, I have I'm pasty as heck just from like having no one week of like absolutely no sun.

00:19:44.355 --> 00:19:44.698
It's disgusting.

00:19:44.698 --> 00:19:45.420
It's disgusting.

00:19:45.420 --> 00:19:49.980
I feel like a cross between like a marshmallow and a mushroom.

00:19:54.532 --> 00:19:56.598
I feel like a cross between a marshmallow and a mushroom.

00:19:58.799 --> 00:20:00.284
This is probably the widest I've been summer-wise in years.

00:20:00.284 --> 00:20:02.109
Yeah, no, it feels awful, it feels disgusting.

00:20:02.109 --> 00:20:06.406
It's making me feel like 10 pounds heavier.

00:20:06.406 --> 00:20:07.230
I'm not happy about it.

00:20:07.230 --> 00:20:11.208
You're crazy, you're not.

00:20:11.228 --> 00:20:13.334
I'm closing out all my things to make sure I'm not happy about it.

00:20:13.334 --> 00:20:14.055
You're crazy, you're not?

00:20:14.055 --> 00:20:14.998
I'm closing out all my things.

00:20:14.998 --> 00:20:15.880
Make sure I'm not on the internet pulling.

00:20:17.741 --> 00:20:18.844
So she told me we're pausing here.

00:20:18.844 --> 00:20:20.506
Yeah, you, I think I'm fine.

00:20:20.506 --> 00:20:21.527
Um, somebody also did.

00:20:21.527 --> 00:20:23.790
I got a couple compliments last week.

00:20:23.790 --> 00:20:33.324
Somebody also said our sound quality is really good right now and I was like we have grown a lot, we've learned a lot, we have.

00:20:33.545 --> 00:20:34.205
We're still learning.

00:20:35.730 --> 00:20:36.952
You know what I wanted to talk to you about.

00:20:36.952 --> 00:20:43.951
I so I know that I've been watching the Olympics and it hasn't been like.

00:20:43.951 --> 00:20:46.721
This is probably why you had a better idea of what was happening with Debbie Cause.

00:20:46.721 --> 00:20:56.695
I have been in the throes of the Olympics like love stories, people cheering people on all of it, like I have just been living for it.

00:20:56.695 --> 00:21:09.107
Whether it's pummel horse guy, simone Biles, I have been obsessed with how incredible the women have been, and then also, in general, the mental health conversations that are coming out of the Olympics right now.

00:21:09.269 --> 00:21:16.338
I'm I've been following some of that in all the reels and stuff about the Olympics.

00:21:16.338 --> 00:21:18.663
I just haven't actually watched the Olympics.

00:21:18.924 --> 00:21:21.049
Oh my gosh, it's been so good I'll watch almost.

00:21:21.049 --> 00:21:35.151
I'm not going to say what I won't watch because there's I'm not trying to offend anyone, but the majority of sports, like if there's a track thing obsessed, like I will never get over how fast these people are.

00:21:35.151 --> 00:21:36.787
I do not understand it.

00:21:36.787 --> 00:21:42.452
I would have upchuck doing that for three meters, much less 400.

00:21:43.261 --> 00:21:44.827
I would have blown my knee out.

00:21:44.827 --> 00:21:48.851
My legs those people's legs look like they're about to fly off their body.

00:21:49.319 --> 00:21:57.815
But the way that they can do it almost like a horse, like an actual animal, that when push comes to shove and that much is on the line.

00:21:57.815 --> 00:22:05.010
And you're not talking like gymnastics, where it's about like skill, you're full on, just a speed demon.

00:22:05.010 --> 00:22:11.420
And there comes a part where I just have to imagine, even for swimming, how much more are you pulling?

00:22:11.420 --> 00:22:13.126
Where are you pulling this from?

00:22:13.126 --> 00:22:21.931
I don't understand when they like, pull ahead just a little bit Toes to like the tippy tippy top of your head.

00:22:22.019 --> 00:22:23.286
Where do they pull that like?

00:22:23.286 --> 00:22:24.983
I don't understand.

00:22:24.983 --> 00:22:28.172
It's badass, it's badass.

00:22:29.240 --> 00:22:31.834
There's I don't want to mess up their name.

00:22:31.834 --> 00:22:33.099
So the mental health conversation.

00:22:33.099 --> 00:22:38.011
There's been a lot of things about, even, um, the doctor that the gymnastics team has right now.

00:22:38.011 --> 00:22:39.143
It's just so amazing.

00:22:39.143 --> 00:22:44.505
They have her like playing Uno in the back with the athletes big hugs, big smiles.

00:22:44.505 --> 00:22:52.821
I mean you can just tell that like gosh, whatever happened there which we won't unpack, um, but that is just like that was awful.

00:22:52.821 --> 00:22:57.813
And those girls have such an incredible like doctor on their team right now.

00:22:57.813 --> 00:22:58.981
It's amazing to watch.

00:22:58.981 --> 00:23:03.692
But there was it's this Tara and Hunter couple.

00:23:03.692 --> 00:23:04.513
Have you heard about these?

00:23:05.520 --> 00:23:07.869
Is this a sweet man reading for his wife?

00:23:07.869 --> 00:23:08.712
Yeah, he's the pair.

00:23:08.712 --> 00:23:09.094
He's a Paralympic.

00:23:09.134 --> 00:23:09.977
Is this a sweet man rooting for his wife?

00:23:09.977 --> 00:23:10.720
Yeah, he's a Paralympic.

00:23:10.720 --> 00:23:12.361
I cannot.

00:23:12.361 --> 00:23:18.753
He's got his Team Tara t-shirt, so he's going to compete next week in the Paralympics they are.

00:23:19.920 --> 00:23:22.348
She has to visit the long jump.

00:23:22.348 --> 00:23:22.630
I can't.

00:23:22.630 --> 00:23:34.605
And his excitement over like I'm just like this is and of course I'm very much in this couple's goals or what green flags for relationships kind of situation.

00:23:34.605 --> 00:23:39.153
Anyways, that's so much a part of my journey right now, but I cannot get over it.

00:23:39.153 --> 00:23:40.727
He's pep-talking her before.

00:23:40.727 --> 00:23:42.462
The way she's just looking at him.

00:23:42.462 --> 00:23:51.268
She's completely dialed in, completely focused, like there's nobody else there, right, and what he says is what's going to make the difference.

00:23:51.268 --> 00:23:55.607
Like this is the only person she needs to hear right now, and then it happens.

00:23:55.607 --> 00:23:57.311
And like her win is his win.

00:23:57.311 --> 00:23:59.025
I mean, he's out of his mind.

00:23:59.626 --> 00:24:04.741
I just, oh, I love like he has like tears in his eyes which made me have tears in my eyes I was.

00:24:04.741 --> 00:24:07.367
It was incredible, absolutely incredible.

00:24:07.367 --> 00:24:10.996
I I just love them they are.

00:24:11.375 --> 00:24:17.692
I know there's been a couple like that where I'm just like there was the French is she a runner or a high jumper?

00:24:17.692 --> 00:24:21.125
She proposed to her husband after she, like did hit a world.

00:24:21.125 --> 00:24:35.637
I'm just like, I mean, I, you know, it's France, so I feel like, if that, if I don't know, I guess I, there's a part of me that's like, of course, like the very traditional part of me is like, oh well, you know why?

00:24:35.637 --> 00:24:37.343
Why couldn't he have done that in that moment?

00:24:37.343 --> 00:24:45.266
But I also know that sometimes, if something's really important to me, I hate this idea of waiting for the other person to come to the table.

00:24:45.266 --> 00:24:50.752
If, like, whether it's the I love you or whatever it is like I just don't.

00:24:50.752 --> 00:24:52.776
Why are we playing games?

00:24:53.781 --> 00:24:56.099
I'm very much the anti games person.

00:24:56.099 --> 00:25:03.067
So, like, if it's in your heart and it's that important to you, instead of playing the game of like do it, do it, do it.

00:25:03.067 --> 00:25:09.730
You know, like the girls are, like you have until the end of the year, or it has to be this many carrots, or like the I can't stand the games.

00:25:10.599 --> 00:25:12.055
Like yeah, or it has to be this many carrots, or like I can't stand the games.

00:25:12.055 --> 00:25:12.488
Yeah, not a huge fan of that.

00:25:13.099 --> 00:25:14.686
No, love games are just not for me.

00:25:14.686 --> 00:25:17.067
So at first I was like I wish he had done that for her.

00:25:17.067 --> 00:25:24.790
But then I was like you know what, I bet that was really important for her, to him, and I bet that felt really good and not.

00:25:24.790 --> 00:25:27.644
I mean, you can take it how you want, but I don't know.

00:25:27.644 --> 00:25:29.806
I think she was proud to do that.

00:25:29.806 --> 00:25:32.336
I mean you can take it how you want, but I don't know, I think she was proud to do that.

00:25:32.336 --> 00:25:33.000
So that is enough for me.

00:25:33.000 --> 00:25:34.520
Yeah, I get that.

00:25:34.520 --> 00:25:35.521
I don't know.

00:25:35.521 --> 00:25:36.643
I love all the love stories.

00:25:36.643 --> 00:25:38.203
I love Simone and her husband.

00:25:38.203 --> 00:25:41.686
They took some heat because he was wearing her gold medal around.

00:25:41.686 --> 00:25:42.567
I was like of course he was.

00:25:42.567 --> 00:25:43.788
Where is she going to leave it?

00:25:43.788 --> 00:25:47.971
The man's giant in the football player, I don't want to get a flicking life man.

00:25:48.011 --> 00:25:52.654
I know that's exactly where I would hang my gold medal on a giant football player.

00:25:52.654 --> 00:25:53.855
Cause that thing, save us.

00:25:53.855 --> 00:25:55.517
Heck, I know.

00:25:55.517 --> 00:25:58.365
Just get over it, I'm loving the hair and the nails too.

00:25:58.365 --> 00:25:59.068
I'm going to be honest.

00:25:59.068 --> 00:26:03.166
I love that the girls are showing up Like the girls are beautiful.

00:26:04.210 --> 00:26:05.622
Yeah, Like they're like fun.

00:26:05.622 --> 00:26:17.910
And again I'm going through reels in my Olympics for my Olympics coverage, which is all I got the two girls bowing down to the winner.

00:26:18.619 --> 00:26:22.471
Yeah, that was Simone and Suni, wasn't it, suni?

00:26:23.380 --> 00:26:26.522
I mean, that is like that's what got me.

00:26:26.522 --> 00:26:39.112
Like that part was really telling and I think for you and I especially, where we are in our journey with all the things, where we're surrounding ourselves with all these incredible women.

00:26:39.711 --> 00:26:40.972
I don't know, it just really spoke to me.

00:26:40.992 --> 00:26:42.193
I'm getting choked up just thinking about it.

00:26:42.253 --> 00:26:43.875
It was just it was so awesome.

00:26:43.875 --> 00:26:44.836
Her name is Rebecca.

00:26:44.836 --> 00:26:46.616
She's from Brazil.

00:26:52.305 --> 00:26:55.359
I believe she is the only gold medal that Brazil's taking home.

00:26:55.359 --> 00:26:58.300
Oh, wow, yep.

00:26:58.300 --> 00:27:01.888
And so like I could be wrong about that, but I'm actually, I think at that point in the games she was their only gold medal.

00:27:01.888 --> 00:27:02.390
She's amazing.

00:27:02.390 --> 00:27:03.853
So she also doesn't speak English.

00:27:04.361 --> 00:27:18.205
So all of the communication that you saw because they were constantly like high-fiving hugging there was a ton of hype was was literally all physical, because I've read this thing the other day that was like they're not speaking the same language.

00:27:18.728 --> 00:27:25.560
So when they got up I think it was Suni, was the other girl, I'm not exactly sure but when they got up, suni was like we should bow and Simone was like yeah, let's do it.

00:27:25.560 --> 00:27:31.394
And then you know that you can see them doing that, and she was so full of joy and they were so full of joy for her.

00:27:31.394 --> 00:27:32.746
It gives me such chills.

00:27:32.746 --> 00:27:47.671
I'm just like I will never get over this idea of like there is enough room at my table, if you understand what it means, if you can move quickly through this, if you can support women, like there's always room at my table.

00:27:47.671 --> 00:27:58.554
If you're not that, if you're the person where I walk away because you to me, feel dangerous in a bad way, like I mean, I guess I could be wrong, but it's just not for me.

00:27:58.554 --> 00:28:01.830
But that energy I am, so here for it right now.

00:28:01.891 --> 00:28:05.287
I love it, I love it, I love the energy, and I don't.

00:28:05.287 --> 00:28:18.906
This is when we were in line at Universal, my dad, there was a girl in front of me and, like her tag was sticking out and I like tucked it because I mean, it was a ginormous tag I don't know what kind of, but it was a huge one and I tapped her.

00:28:18.906 --> 00:28:21.101
I was like, hey, I'm going to tuck your tag in for you.

00:28:21.101 --> 00:28:22.702
And I did it.

00:28:22.702 --> 00:28:29.911
And then, like an hour later, I was in line again and a girl's book bag was open and I was like, hey, I'm going to close your book bag for you.

00:28:29.911 --> 00:28:31.292
And my dad was like what are you doing?

00:28:31.292 --> 00:28:32.994
Like doing this for all these random women?

00:28:32.994 --> 00:28:36.887
I'm like that's what we do for each other, that's what we do.

00:28:36.907 --> 00:28:39.997
I had a mom that came to me.

00:28:39.997 --> 00:28:47.188
We did some back to school shopping today up in old Navy and I was in the back with the girls and she was like hey, I had my arms full of nonsense.

00:28:47.188 --> 00:28:50.251
And she was like I just did a return and they didn't make me return my fast cash.

00:28:50.251 --> 00:28:52.555
And I feel like you look like you could really use some.

00:28:52.555 --> 00:28:54.340
And she like gave me her fast cash.

00:28:54.340 --> 00:28:55.747
I was like I saved that.

00:28:55.747 --> 00:28:58.115
I know I saved 40 bucks.

00:28:58.115 --> 00:29:02.183
She's like I don't know why they didn't make me return it and I asked them shouldn't I give this back?

00:29:02.183 --> 00:29:03.986
And they were like no, don't worry about it, you can use it.

00:29:03.986 --> 00:29:11.094
And so then I was like sweet, that was super nice, I know, right, I live for that.

00:29:11.714 --> 00:29:14.143
Girl power man, I'm here for it.

00:29:14.824 --> 00:29:17.710
We've got some really cool people Speaking of girl power.

00:29:17.871 --> 00:29:19.113
I was about to say it.

00:29:19.113 --> 00:29:19.942
Can I grab a beer?

00:29:19.942 --> 00:29:20.944
Hang on, can you pause?

00:29:20.964 --> 00:29:21.445
for a moment.

00:29:21.445 --> 00:29:22.409
Yeah, go grab a beer.

00:29:22.409 --> 00:29:44.145
I'll hype it up a little bit without saying names, but we have entertained you guys all summer with a lot of our stuff and, while I know you love hearing our voices, we have been absolutely teeing up some really incredible guests for the fall and, I feel like, the summer, because we had to be so flexible.

00:29:44.145 --> 00:29:49.134
We were really careful not to invite guests into that level of flexibility.

00:29:49.134 --> 00:29:51.147
It just didn't feel appropriate or professional.

00:29:51.147 --> 00:29:52.444
We barely showed up.

00:29:52.444 --> 00:29:57.050
No, I know, and we did great, but like we couldn't bring the guests into that.

00:29:57.050 --> 00:30:04.010
But because we're heading into the school year and we can plan around stuff, we literally have them on the calendar teed up.

00:30:04.010 --> 00:30:06.986
I can knock it over our guest list.

00:30:07.488 --> 00:30:08.510
I'm so excited.

00:30:08.510 --> 00:30:15.709
So we have our first one on Monday, yep Two days and we're so excited about I'm just I'm thrilled.

00:30:15.709 --> 00:30:18.200
I can't wait to talk to some of these incredible women.

00:30:18.279 --> 00:30:22.048
We won't say who they are, but let's talk about some of the things that they're bringing to the table.

00:30:22.048 --> 00:30:26.782
So we won't even say who Monday is.

00:30:26.782 --> 00:30:31.147
Let's just like we'll just give you I don't want to say anything, I think we should just say some teaser.

00:30:31.147 --> 00:30:35.432
So, like one thing you need to do, y'all need to take the Enneagram test.

00:30:35.432 --> 00:30:38.255
Yes, jenny found a free one.

00:30:38.255 --> 00:30:39.256
We're going to link it.

00:30:39.256 --> 00:30:40.596
We might even put it in the profile.

00:30:40.596 --> 00:30:48.450
We'll do our best to give it to you.

00:30:48.450 --> 00:30:50.900
You already know a neogram, then you probably love it.

00:30:50.900 --> 00:30:53.345
You're going to be out of your mind for this one.

00:30:53.345 --> 00:30:55.048
This is going to be exciting.

00:30:55.048 --> 00:31:06.928
Um, branding, yep, our soup, like we do branding, but branding isn't necessarily our main niche.

00:31:06.928 --> 00:31:09.911
This is like branding.

00:31:09.911 --> 00:31:14.737
Bow down on the podium to Rebecca from Brazil Standard.

00:31:15.619 --> 00:31:19.049
Yes, and she also has a podcast that she just started.

00:31:19.049 --> 00:31:22.224
Yes, and she's a badass web designer.

00:31:22.224 --> 00:31:34.807
So all of them we are so excited we're going to start getting into more of some of these marketing conversations because it's been mayhem pretty much all summer, so we're really excited to have her.

00:31:36.482 --> 00:31:37.807
We have another marketing professional.

00:31:37.807 --> 00:31:44.348
We actually have two marketing One's a team kind of and one's a professional coming.

00:31:44.348 --> 00:31:51.073
We teased it a little bit on our social media as far as Queefgate, but I'll.

00:31:53.119 --> 00:31:57.779
We still need to link the poll about do women fart for their significant others?

00:31:58.481 --> 00:32:02.250
So I started teeing it up yesterday by asking them the initial question.

00:32:02.731 --> 00:32:07.410
Okay, Because I'm like we got to there's social media where I'm asking for opinions.

00:32:07.599 --> 00:32:22.028
But we take what was just a conversation about farting as a couple even further and we bring in somebody who's so much like us but she has the world's most embarrassing queef story.

00:32:22.028 --> 00:32:23.590
I'll never get over it.

00:32:23.590 --> 00:32:25.034
It was a professional setting.

00:32:25.034 --> 00:32:27.321
It did not.

00:32:27.321 --> 00:32:31.489
I would die Did you see it's in her highlight.

00:32:31.489 --> 00:32:33.291
She said oops.

00:32:34.394 --> 00:32:35.035
I would have died.

00:32:35.035 --> 00:32:39.126
I would have died, just to be clear, but you can't.

00:32:39.126 --> 00:32:45.422
Yeah, I don't know she went back like that was what was all right, we'll talk about it later.

00:32:45.422 --> 00:32:46.002
You had to.

00:32:46.123 --> 00:32:46.643
she had to.

00:32:46.643 --> 00:32:56.736
We we have an influencer coming on, an influencer turned book writer, so that should be really exciting.

00:32:56.736 --> 00:32:59.582
Yeah, we're thinking about some others.

00:32:59.602 --> 00:33:07.991
So we're going to be a heavy, heavy guest lineup as we transition into the first year anniversary of Marketing and Mayhem.

00:33:08.731 --> 00:33:22.688
I know it's crazy and I'll say this too If you have something that's on your mind, on your heart, or if you're a listener and there's something where you feel like you could even contribute, like I think you should reach out.

00:33:22.688 --> 00:33:26.243
I know we really want to talk to somebody about hormones.

00:33:26.243 --> 00:33:28.609
Yeah, we're still working on that one.

00:33:29.271 --> 00:33:30.474
That and perimenopause.

00:33:30.935 --> 00:33:33.684
Lord bless Yep Hormones and perimenopause and that whole journey.

00:33:33.684 --> 00:33:46.962
And as tough as that is, I would just love that door to be even more wide open, because every time I talk about it, there's somebody who's been completely left behind and is trying to figure this out with over the counter or just cooling sheets.

00:33:46.962 --> 00:33:49.592
And I'm going to tell you right now you need way more than that.

00:33:49.592 --> 00:33:51.960
You need Don't be knocking my cooling sheets through the sheet.

00:33:51.960 --> 00:33:53.446
Well, I'm just saying you did that.

00:33:53.446 --> 00:33:55.267
I won't even tell why that happened.

00:33:55.267 --> 00:33:57.307
That had nothing to do with perimenopause.

00:33:57.307 --> 00:33:59.503
That was a travel situation.

00:33:59.503 --> 00:34:01.827
It was we love our family.

00:34:01.827 --> 00:34:03.290
They're bomb now.

00:34:03.290 --> 00:34:04.594
That's different.

00:34:04.594 --> 00:34:06.105
But this is like.

00:34:06.105 --> 00:34:12.364
We do really need a leader to walk us through this and we have somebody that we love.

00:34:12.364 --> 00:34:15.992
But I understand the idea of getting on a podcast and talking about some of these things can be really intimidating.

00:34:16.793 --> 00:34:21.110
Yeah, so if anybody has any guest recommendations, I think that would be amazing.

00:34:21.110 --> 00:34:24.967
Yeah, and I'm still trying to get somebody from McDonald's.

00:34:24.967 --> 00:34:28.851
I'm determined to get somebody from McDonald's, determined.

00:34:29.260 --> 00:34:29.947
We need somebody from McDonald's.

00:34:29.947 --> 00:34:31.039
Determined, we need somebody from McDonald's.

00:34:31.039 --> 00:34:38.108
I feel like we have like a couple other things where we're like, okay, these are our top tier, like if we could have, we've got a little bit of a list.

00:34:38.809 --> 00:34:39.612
I know I do.

00:34:39.612 --> 00:34:42.548
I definitely personally do yeah.

00:34:43.139 --> 00:34:44.266
You know what I learned the other day.

00:34:44.266 --> 00:34:44.847
This is going to be.

00:34:44.847 --> 00:34:57.771
You're going to find this interesting because I was watching the Olympics and I was thinking about Ralph Lauren, like Polo, ralph Lauren and how they always get the outfits and they get like they've had that, you know, like spot forever for the dressing the Olympians.

00:34:57.771 --> 00:35:02.610
This is not about Polo, this is about Nike.

00:35:02.610 --> 00:35:04.505
So this one's really interesting.

00:35:04.505 --> 00:35:08.527
Did you know that the Nike logo was created by a student?

00:35:08.527 --> 00:35:12.333
Yeah, no, they paid.

00:35:12.333 --> 00:35:15.998
She was a student in college in Portland.

00:35:15.998 --> 00:35:22.472
They paid her $35 and it's based off of the Greek.

00:35:22.472 --> 00:35:24.878
It's one of the Greek goddesses.

00:35:24.878 --> 00:35:27.163
Hold on, I think I took a screenshot.

00:35:27.163 --> 00:35:30.539
I was, I was floored, so they ended up okay.

00:35:31.322 --> 00:35:35.815
The Nike logo, known as the swoosh, was designed by Carolyn Davidson in 1971.

00:35:35.815 --> 00:35:42.791
She was a graphic design student at Portland state university and created the logo while working for Nike's co-founder, phil Knight.

00:35:42.791 --> 00:35:47.650
The design represents the wing of the Greek goddess Nike, the goddess of victory.

00:35:47.650 --> 00:35:54.963
Davidson was initially paid $35 for her work and she later received shares in the company as a token of appreciation.

00:35:54.963 --> 00:36:01.490
Wow, isn't that from a market?

00:36:01.490 --> 00:36:02.773
I totally forgot that.

00:36:02.773 --> 00:36:04.516
I had saved this to tell you that's badass.

00:36:04.516 --> 00:36:05.838
Yeah, isn't that just wild.

00:36:05.838 --> 00:36:09.025
Yeah, it blew my mind and it's the simplest logo too.

00:36:09.025 --> 00:36:10.833
That's exactly what I was going to say.

00:36:10.833 --> 00:36:21.570
My favorite logos are just like because that's the point, right, it's for your eye to visually recognize this, and we all work in industries where I get it.

00:36:21.570 --> 00:36:26.570
Teams come and they're married to it and it's got to be three sunflowers because there's three sisters.

00:36:26.570 --> 00:36:39.786
I get it, but there is something to be said for really simple visual like cues I love it I love simple.

00:36:39.806 --> 00:36:42.355
It always makes me think of the hershey kiss commercial for christmas.

00:36:42.355 --> 00:36:48.277
That's been around for like 50 years or god knows what my fave that the cadbury bunny.

00:36:48.920 --> 00:36:50.103
I love that everybody.

00:36:50.503 --> 00:36:55.500
I don't know I barely eat sugar, but I will eat at least three Cadbury eggs during the Easter season.

00:36:55.500 --> 00:36:57.036
I will get sick off Cadbury eggs.

00:36:57.329 --> 00:36:59.516
But like the ones with, like the egg yolk thing in them.

00:36:59.516 --> 00:37:01.019
Yeah, the big fat boys.

00:37:01.280 --> 00:37:03.634
Bullets oh live for it.

00:37:03.634 --> 00:37:05.280
Solid gold.

00:37:05.471 --> 00:37:06.782
It's a hard pass for me.

00:37:06.782 --> 00:37:08.731
Hard pass, I don't know what it is.

00:37:09.251 --> 00:37:12.775
It takes me back and I'm just like I'm going to go into a coma after this.

00:37:12.775 --> 00:37:16.597
This is so good Easter candy.

00:37:16.657 --> 00:37:17.918
We've had this conversation.

00:37:17.918 --> 00:37:18.900
That's the top tier.

00:37:18.900 --> 00:37:21.581
The top tier, like best candy that there is.

00:37:21.581 --> 00:37:23.965
I'll say this you can't fight it.

00:37:24.445 --> 00:37:24.844
You can't.

00:37:24.844 --> 00:37:27.847
And the Easter M&Ms and the Christmas M&Ms are just different.

00:37:27.847 --> 00:37:29.168
I don't know why that is.

00:37:29.168 --> 00:37:29.889
They're different than regular.

00:37:29.909 --> 00:37:31.112
They're like meltier.

00:37:32.172 --> 00:37:36.880
But they're just like the shell is better, the sheen is better, something about it.

00:37:36.880 --> 00:37:41.025
Yeah, christmas is out of control at Hobby Lobby.

00:37:41.025 --> 00:37:46.280
I know I took my dead cat there, but it looks beautiful I went in to pick.

00:37:46.409 --> 00:37:48.152
I framed a picture there and it is.

00:37:48.152 --> 00:37:50.577
Christmas has come to Hobby Lobby.

00:37:50.577 --> 00:37:54.204
Won't be long, girl, it's all right.

00:37:54.204 --> 00:37:55.896
I still got my Christmas centerpiece up.

00:37:55.896 --> 00:37:56.639
I am ready.

00:37:56.639 --> 00:38:01.581
It is August 10th and she's still kicking.

00:38:01.601 --> 00:38:03.907
I just don't have the energy.

00:38:03.907 --> 00:38:04.849
I don't have the energy.

00:38:04.849 --> 00:38:10.021
I think I actually have video footage from that when we were at your house.

00:38:10.021 --> 00:38:13.760
More so I might have to make a reel of your In and out.

00:38:13.760 --> 00:38:19.012
Yep, no, she's still there.

00:38:19.012 --> 00:38:20.557
Is that the only piece of Christmas is up?

00:38:23.057 --> 00:38:23.920
yeah, I think so.

00:38:23.920 --> 00:38:26.197
We finally took the tree down in Clark's room.

00:38:26.309 --> 00:38:31.876
It was making me crazy it does feel like kind of crazy, but like you take it you go really far.

00:38:31.876 --> 00:38:35.434
So like you even change out your pictures in the bathroom to be like Christmas pictures.

00:38:35.494 --> 00:38:36.195
Yeah, I don't play.

00:38:36.195 --> 00:38:37.239
I don't play yeah.

00:38:37.338 --> 00:38:38.242
No, I know I love that.

00:38:38.242 --> 00:38:40.175
I'm like a minimalist about Christmas.

00:38:40.175 --> 00:38:44.077
Even though I love Christmas, I do like the big tree and I'm like the big village, but then I don't.

00:38:44.117 --> 00:38:46.503
I'm a minimalist anyway, I actually had that thought.

00:38:46.503 --> 00:38:59.436
You know, we finally got the couch and, oh, it's amazing, we love it, it's great, but like we were.

00:38:59.436 --> 00:39:02.327
So that then led to me saying I want to redo the living room in true jenny fashion, and so that was my project.

00:39:02.327 --> 00:39:02.949
Last sunday.

00:39:02.949 --> 00:39:05.255
It was like, oh, let's take the day and stay on the couch.

00:39:05.255 --> 00:39:16.733
And it was like, no, let's patch all these holes, take stuff down, replace this, buy a new lamp, whatever it's just very interesting because there is actually a Christmas centerpiece in your dining room.

00:39:17.175 --> 00:39:17.396
Yes.

00:39:18.269 --> 00:39:21.494
But this was so important.

00:39:22.117 --> 00:39:23.119
Yes, correct.

00:39:23.119 --> 00:39:24.313
No, I understand.

00:39:24.313 --> 00:39:31.014
As I was redoing the living room, I was like you were in the back of my mind, because I feel like less is more at your place.

00:39:31.014 --> 00:39:36.853
Yeah, and I feel like I love that, because we have shit everywhere and so I'm trying to.

00:39:36.853 --> 00:39:40.583
You're influencing me to be a minimalist.

00:39:41.871 --> 00:40:02.001
What I love is that you actually recognize that part of me, because I think sometimes when people walk in and they see the wallpaper, they misunderstand that I actually am a minimalist, because it seems like the visual cues are heavy, but they're not heavy like things.

00:40:02.001 --> 00:40:06.259
No, I know, but I feel like people miss that a little bit.

00:40:06.829 --> 00:40:07.690
No, I definitely.

00:40:07.690 --> 00:40:08.733
I mean, I did not.

00:40:08.733 --> 00:40:11.516
You are a creative.

00:40:11.516 --> 00:40:14.981
You pick a piece and then go around it.

00:40:15.862 --> 00:40:19.855
Yeah, or if something really inspires me, like I got a new picture frame the other day.

00:40:19.855 --> 00:40:20.597
I went to Target.

00:40:20.597 --> 00:40:21.059
Finally.

00:40:21.969 --> 00:40:22.231
Yay.

00:40:22.351 --> 00:40:26.990
The cutest little gold brass picture frame, and I have that brass, I think.

00:40:27.030 --> 00:40:27.793
I bought it too.

00:40:27.793 --> 00:40:29.179
I literally bought it yesterday.

00:40:29.179 --> 00:40:30.092
I'm obsessed with it.

00:40:30.092 --> 00:40:31.759
Is it like the floating frame.

00:40:33.210 --> 00:40:35.375
No, but it's on like a little bit of a pedestal.

00:40:35.956 --> 00:40:38.161
Oh no, I didn't buy that one then I'll send you a picture of mine.

00:40:38.181 --> 00:40:39.744
Yeah, I'll send you a picture of mine, we'll share them.

00:40:39.744 --> 00:40:50.840
So I randomly was like, oh my gosh, that would look so good with my unicorn, which now that I'm saying it sounds a little wild.

00:40:50.840 --> 00:40:57.659
But I do have a unicorn that my very best friend that I grew up with, sarah, gifted to me for my birthday this year.

00:40:57.659 --> 00:40:58.463
She's like I saw it.

00:40:58.463 --> 00:41:01.699
It's like almost looks like a bookend she's like, and I was like I have to get this for her.

00:41:01.699 --> 00:41:03.447
So she like mailed this heavy unicorn.

00:41:03.447 --> 00:41:07.958
It sits next to my stove and I was like, damn, this would look so good with my unicorn.

00:41:10.202 --> 00:41:21.661
But it made me get out my picture bin and we went through all like like I went through a bunch of old photos like of my pets growing up, because I had ducks growing up and I had all these dogs and stuff that's cute.

00:41:21.661 --> 00:41:24.318
Yeah, well, the duck was a cripple.

00:41:24.318 --> 00:41:28.614
You know, my mom works at the vet hospital.

00:41:28.614 --> 00:41:30.077
She's a vet tech.

00:41:30.077 --> 00:41:31.702
I didn't know that, sandy.

00:41:32.449 --> 00:41:33.753
I didn't know that about Sandy Like't know that about Sandy.

00:41:33.893 --> 00:41:37.420
We grew up in a small farming town, basically on Lake Ontario.

00:41:37.420 --> 00:41:38.523
My mom is a vet tech.

00:41:38.523 --> 00:41:42.721
The owner of the vet hospital is one of her very closest friends.

00:41:42.721 --> 00:41:46.960
I was the nanny for him and his wife actually was an Olympian.

00:41:46.960 --> 00:41:49.217
She was an Olympic gold medalist in winter sport.

00:41:49.217 --> 00:41:53.175
Winter sport yeah, that was an interesting story.

00:41:53.175 --> 00:41:56.358
I was their nanny for like a little bit.

00:41:56.358 --> 00:41:58.293
It's like a whole.

00:41:58.293 --> 00:42:07.458
My mom and him started this entire breeding program with one of the big Ivy League schools in New York and they've just done amazing things.

00:42:07.458 --> 00:42:09.282
But I grew up at the vet hospital.

00:42:09.282 --> 00:42:15.342
We would always go if there was puppies or if know C-sections on the weekend, all the fun stuff.

00:42:15.342 --> 00:42:17.157
Oh my gosh, I had no idea.

00:42:17.157 --> 00:42:26.280
Well, because now there's all these rules, of course, but like when I was little, they would just toss you a puppy inside of a little thing and your job was to like go as fast and hard as you can.

00:42:26.550 --> 00:42:32.239
So it's all this stuff out of its nose and like we grew up doing stuff like that or like going to like friends.

00:42:32.239 --> 00:42:33.603
How I remember one thanksgiving.

00:42:33.603 --> 00:42:44.320
I sat on our other friend's floor with my mom almost the entire night because her golden retriever was having puppies and it was thanksgiving well, no wonder you're such an animal lover all kinds of so.

00:42:44.942 --> 00:42:51.518
Somebody brought in a duck that had been hit by a snowplow and one arm was like this, so we had him.

00:42:51.518 --> 00:42:53.019
His name was ping forever.

00:42:53.019 --> 00:42:55.702
He lived in a laundry basket.

00:42:55.702 --> 00:42:57.505
What was his name?

00:42:57.505 --> 00:42:59.193
Ping p-i-n-g.

00:42:59.193 --> 00:43:00.655
There's a book.

00:43:01.317 --> 00:43:09.820
No, it's a children's book oh, I thought it was like chinese food no, I think the children's book is about chinese ducks, but it's not about food.

00:43:09.820 --> 00:43:11.724
Okay, um, but he has.

00:43:11.724 --> 00:43:30.576
He could only go in circles because his one arm was literally like just I swear on my life, jenny, my childhood was wild, so like we would you know when you you know when you've been married to somebody for a while and it's like I keep finding things about this person that I never.

00:43:30.597 --> 00:43:40.427
I never knew about ping the duck well, he lived in a laundry basket and we would like change out his stuff all the time and like we would take him outside to a pool.

00:43:40.427 --> 00:43:42.594
We had a little pool in our garden, like a blue pool.

00:43:42.594 --> 00:43:49.342
You had to sit with him or the hawks would try to get him, because he was, oh my god, so you had to like be out there.

00:43:49.342 --> 00:43:54.594
When he was swimming in circles, he needed exercise, but like the hawks would try to get him, so so you had to be there.

00:43:56.496 --> 00:43:57.358
It's a true story.

00:43:57.358 --> 00:44:08.172
I don't even like, uh, if I thought I'm trying really hard not to get giggles turned on right now, cause I know as soon as I start I'm not going to be able to stop, but I'm, my eyes are watering.

00:44:08.172 --> 00:44:10.175
I'm about to just like wet my face.

00:44:10.215 --> 00:44:11.117
No, I found I.

00:44:11.117 --> 00:44:12.480
So I found pictures of ping.

00:44:12.480 --> 00:44:13.601
She's like so cute.

00:44:13.601 --> 00:44:15.125
All right, we're going to have to post that.

00:44:15.670 --> 00:44:17.277
We're going to have to post the picture of Ping.

00:44:17.731 --> 00:44:30.983
I mean, we had so many pets, Like my mom was the kind of mom where, like you could bring just about anything home, Like there was a I don't remember kind of one of those brown birds that like a sparrow I don't think it's a sparrow, One of the just general like brown birds.

00:44:30.983 --> 00:44:43.068
We found it when it was really little and we would feed it cat food out of the little things and it like got all fat and like hung around the house for an entire summer, like once we let it free it stayed close to the back porch for like an entire summer.

00:44:43.068 --> 00:44:49.353
My mom would nurse anything back to health and she would tell you like I don't think this one's gonna make it, but let's give it a shot.

00:44:49.353 --> 00:44:52.679
Oh, she's the queen of rescuing stuff.

00:44:52.679 --> 00:44:55.324
Oh, I love that they have a little.

00:44:55.829 --> 00:45:02.463
So my dog Billy was my French bulldog was the beginning of part of the breeding program at this vet hospital.

00:45:02.463 --> 00:45:13.099
Like that's when they started showing them and anyways they had puppies like eight weeks ago and one of them had a cleft palate and typically those you don't necessarily like.

00:45:13.099 --> 00:45:16.552
Usually those are euthanized, right, If there's like a big issue.

00:45:16.552 --> 00:45:19.800
No, they found a home for it.

00:45:19.800 --> 00:45:21.751
One of the workers has it His name's Guppy.

00:45:21.751 --> 00:45:24.277
They fixed his little guppy as much as they could.

00:45:24.277 --> 00:45:25.438
I can't.

00:45:25.438 --> 00:45:27.143
My mom sends me videos and stuff.

00:45:27.143 --> 00:45:27.869
All the.

00:45:27.869 --> 00:45:38.503
It's the cutest dog you've ever seen in your life with this little guppy thing, and like I cannot, Yep Guppy.

00:45:39.844 --> 00:45:40.706
Oh gracious.

00:45:44.556 --> 00:45:48.954
Her big thing is like never name a dog lucky or chance, like let's just stay away from notes.

00:45:48.954 --> 00:45:49.777
She's like don't do that.

00:45:49.777 --> 00:45:51.856
Those are, like her only things.

00:45:52.311 --> 00:45:54.994
Oh my God, I can't wait to meet your mama.

00:45:55.916 --> 00:45:56.980
Oh no, I know It'll be fun.

00:45:56.980 --> 00:45:59.137
She's actually retiring in November.

00:46:00.231 --> 00:46:01.217
Oh, that's exciting.

00:46:01.217 --> 00:46:03.954
Yeah, my mom did that last May.

00:46:05.358 --> 00:46:05.940
It will be good.

00:46:05.940 --> 00:46:12.938
My mom works a lot so I'll be curious to see if she actually like fully retires or if she retires and then goes back part-time.

00:46:12.938 --> 00:46:14.492
But I really like her to just retire.

00:46:15.092 --> 00:46:16.936
Yes, sandy, we're rooting for you.

00:46:17.577 --> 00:46:20.101
She's got like 9,000 hobbies, no big shock.

00:46:21.103 --> 00:46:26.597
No, that's another episode, I know right.

00:46:26.597 --> 00:46:31.257
So we started with poop and we're ending at Guppy the Bulldog.

00:46:32.661 --> 00:46:35.472
I know Well, actually that's not where we're ending Real quick.

00:46:35.532 --> 00:46:39.934
I just sent you a text message, oh sorry, yes.

00:46:39.934 --> 00:46:48.603
The Gritty Gal Marketing website is live as of today.

00:46:48.603 --> 00:46:54.201
And it literally happened as we were on this podcast.

00:46:54.201 --> 00:46:57.393
Cheers, oh my God.

00:46:57.393 --> 00:47:00.420
Hallelujah, praise the Lord.

00:47:01.402 --> 00:47:03.157
I know I'm so excited for this fall.

00:47:03.157 --> 00:47:04.876
It's like we have the podcast guests.

00:47:04.876 --> 00:47:08.641
We have some really interesting clients we're entertaining right now for Gritty Gal.

00:47:08.641 --> 00:47:15.443
I feel like we're getting very close to this one year of both and like really good things are happening.

00:47:16.550 --> 00:47:20.661
Yes, they've been a long time coming, but all good things.

00:47:20.661 --> 00:47:23.018
It takes some time to kind of find your groove.

00:47:23.018 --> 00:47:24.775
I think we are in our groove.

00:47:25.510 --> 00:47:28.699
Well, I think that's one of the points of even the Queef Queen coming on.

00:47:28.699 --> 00:47:35.521
I mean, she's had two failed businesses and then one very successful, and I just think I don't think this is going to fail at all because of who we are.

00:47:35.521 --> 00:47:45.931
But I think the idea that you wake up one day and you make a decision to do it, that seems like a really big decision and it feels like very heavy and you take it seriously.

00:47:45.931 --> 00:47:48.480
But then you kind of wake up the next day and you're like, okay, now what?

00:47:49.389 --> 00:47:51.693
Yeah, Now you just and I feel like that's what it's just been.

00:47:51.693 --> 00:47:52.954
It's just, we just do.

00:47:52.954 --> 00:47:53.795
It's just, we just do.

00:47:53.795 --> 00:47:55.275
It's like we get clients, we just start working.

00:47:55.275 --> 00:47:58.519
It takes a few months to get a website going.

00:47:58.519 --> 00:48:00.382
We just do it and just keep on.

00:48:00.382 --> 00:48:02.523
We just keep on, keeping on.

00:48:02.523 --> 00:48:04.005
I mean, that's really what we've been doing.

00:48:04.706 --> 00:48:29.217
Yep, no-transcript our favorite about it but we're really good about being like.

00:48:29.217 --> 00:48:30.380
We learned this.

00:48:30.380 --> 00:48:32.775
Yes, we learned this about ourselves.

00:48:32.775 --> 00:48:40.445
Or we learned this about client communication, or we learned this about who we like to work with and what makes us feel successful.

00:48:40.445 --> 00:48:45.257
We're definitely taking it all very seriously, but we're having a lot of fun.

00:48:46.501 --> 00:48:47.603
I would have it no other way.

00:48:47.603 --> 00:48:49.070
I know I love it.

00:48:49.070 --> 00:48:51.376
Cheers Proud of us, cheers Me too.

00:48:51.376 --> 00:48:53.302
So everybody go to the website.

00:48:53.302 --> 00:49:01.760
Give me like a week or two before you add feedback, because my heart probably couldn't handle it right now because it has been a long time.

00:49:01.760 --> 00:49:15.590
But after about two weeks I will happily accept feedback feedback, share who we are.

00:49:15.610 --> 00:49:31.601
I mean, if you, if you're in conversations, listen, one of my favorite things to do is talk about the women and the men that I know that are business owners when I'm in a conversation and they are such a good fit and those are my favorite people to work with or purchase from or spend my money with, so, like, do us the same favor.

00:49:31.601 --> 00:49:41.452
I just I can't tell you how much it means to us to go and work with somebody that you already know or you already trust, or a project you're already excited about, because that just gets us.

00:49:41.452 --> 00:49:49.458
I mean, we go right from start line to like level 10, when we know that we're investing our time and space into something that's near and dear to you guys.

00:49:49.458 --> 00:49:52.012
I just think we work from the heart a lot.

00:49:52.012 --> 00:49:53.452
I think that's a lot of what grit is.

00:49:54.052 --> 00:49:56.094
Absolutely, which is why it's Gritty Gal.

00:49:56.876 --> 00:49:57.135
Yep.

00:49:58.117 --> 00:49:59.918
All right, 50 minutes.

00:49:59.918 --> 00:50:06.925
It was a long one today, but thank y'all so much for tuning in and we are so excited.

00:50:06.925 --> 00:50:09.206
I guess what our first guest will be like.

00:50:09.206 --> 00:50:11.996
The next episode, right?

00:50:12.016 --> 00:50:12.498
Yeah, I think so.

00:50:15.797 --> 00:50:16.260
This airs on.

00:50:16.260 --> 00:50:20.864
Thursday the 15th, so we have a mystery guest next week.

00:50:20.864 --> 00:50:21.989
Yeah.

00:50:22.070 --> 00:50:24.733
And we're having dinner with her first, which is like so exciting for me.

00:50:24.835 --> 00:50:26.360
Oh my gosh, I'm so excited.

00:50:27.530 --> 00:50:28.454
Love the snacks.

00:50:29.277 --> 00:50:29.699
All right.

00:50:29.699 --> 00:50:32.313
Thanks everybody for tuning in and we will see you next week.
